General Counsel Program

Minnesota businesses interested in having easier access to legal services without the restrictions of traditional law-firm hourly billing or the expense of hiring “in house” counsel should consider the General Counsel Program offered by Greenhouse & Gram. This program is designed to provide small to mid-sized Minnesota companies access to the information and services they need to address all of their legal concerns, from the most basic business law issues to serious litigation matters, without worrying about excessive legal fees. The General Counsel Program includes advice and services ranging from the choice of legal entity to contract drafting and negotiation, labor laws and compliance issues.

After meeting with you and gaining a thorough understanding of your company, we will put together a package of general counsel legal services, specifically designed to meet your unique business goals and legal needs. In general, day-to-day legal services such as telephone calls, contract review and attorney letters will be covered by a periodic retainer and incur no additional fee. Other services, such as civil litigation, are billed at a substantial discount off the firm's normal hourly rates. We believe the General Counsel Program encourages communication and cooperation between our law office and our clients, establishing a collaborative relationship that allows us to solve small legal problems before they become big ones. Once enrolled in the General Counsel Program, companies will have Greenhouse & Gram as their general counsel and can rely on readily available and affordable legal services.
